1300SMILES Buderim is on the lookout for a skilled Casual Dental Assistant to become part of our welcoming team.
This role involves working on Mondays and Fridays from 8am to 5pm at our practice with the option for you to work at our Caloundra practice on Thursdays between 8am – 5pm!
Situated in the local shopping village, our practice offers ample parking for both team members and patients alike. With a focus on diversity and a family-oriented approach, our dental practice boasts a team of Dentists dedicated to providing exceptional patient care.
Job Description
- Provide chairside assistance during dental procedures.
- Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for dental procedures.
- Sterilise and maintain dental instruments and equipment.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care.
- Schedule and coordinate patient appointments.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Qualifications
- Experience in dental terminology and procedures.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of dental software.
