Australian Capital Territory

Home to our nation’s Parliament and lawmakers, the Australian Capital Territory may seem small and unassuming, but it represents much of what makes Australia a wonderful place to live. 

With high mountain peaks to ski on, scenic coasts to surf in, and small city living close by cosy country towns, the ACT is a picturesque destination for holidayers and homemakers alike.

New South Wales

Sydney is what many new migrants will leap to see when they think of New South Wales (don’t miss the Red Panda at Taronga Zoo), but it’s only a tiny slice of what the state has to offer. 

Drive up the coast and enjoy the bohemian life in Byron Bay, take a day trip (or longer!) into the hinterlands, or just kick up your feet and have a coffee in Manly: all of life’s pleasures are on offer.

Queensland

The Sunshine State offers an incredible contrast to cooler climates, so take full advantage! Queensland is home to some of the best beaches in the world, some of the best diving in the world at the Great Barrier Reef, and some of the best produce in the world. 

All this can be found within driving distance of the state’s regional towns, as well as its busiest cities.

South Australia

Whether you’re eager to hop into a pink lake, jump into a hot air balloon adventure, or explore an inexplicably tiny German town, South Australia has plenty to surprise you with. 

It’s a unique part of the world that offers some stunning options for coastal, city or regional living.

Tasmania

For some, Tasmania can be easy to miss – which only adds to tits mystic charm. If you’re seeking a quieter life in a stunning pocket of the world with a mild climate, Tasmania is a fantastic choice.

You could settle down in a quiet coastal town near Wineglass Bay, or choose a corner of Hobart to be close to the heart of the state.

Victoria

In the south-eastern-most corner of the country, there is a bustling hive of metropolitan activity and natural beauty stretching off to the horizon. 

Melbourne is the vibrant home of huge sporting franchises, unmatched music and theatre, and some of the best restaurants in the country. 

Take a short trip outside the city though and you'll hit the Great Ocean Road, go north to enjoy a cup of tea along the Murray River, or head west to see some of the charming smaller towns that Victorians call home.

Western Australia

Whether you're looking to experience our regional heartland or our best city living, Western Australia is a perfect choice. 

Enjoy small towns in some of the most iconic landscapes on the planet, or escape to the city edging the Indian Ocean. You’ll never want to live anywhere else once you’ve spent a weekend exploring the forests and foods of the Margaret River.

Upper Northland

The subtropical Northland region of New Zealand stretches upwards from the hustle of Auckland City, through to the very top in Cape Reinga.

Tamaki Makaurau (Auckland) is a multi-cultural hub of food, music, arts and culture. Visit the West Coast’s iconic black sand beaches, or take a short ferry trip to Waiheke and winery hop. In the beautiful Bay of Islands you can take a boat cruise, see wild dolphins, dive, fish or just relax in the sun. You can also visit the Waitangi Treaty Grounds, one of New Zealand's most significant historic sites.

Central North Island

From the picturesque beaches across the Coromandel region, through to the geo-thermal hot-spot, Rotorua. Central North Island is action-central, with so many things to do and see. Black water raft through the Waitomo Caves, or boat cruise across Lake Taupo – there’s something for every explorer!

Lower North Island

Wine, sunshine, history and cuisine, Lower North Island has you covered. NZ’s capital, Wellington City (recently named the coolest little capital in the world by Lonely Planet) has world-class dining experiences, and a vibrant café scene. You can also find great wine regions in the lower North Island, including Hawkes Bay, Martinborough, and Wairapapa.

Upper South Island

Upper South Island has so much to offer. Known for its stunning landscapes and beaches, Nelson Tasman is home to great walks, and is the sunniest place in NZ. The West Coast is also set for nature lovers – enjoy rivers, rainforests, glaciers and coastal scenery.

Central South Island

Spectacular glaciers, a street art trail in Christchurch, and the beauty of Aoraki/Mount Cook. There’s plenty to see and do in Central South Island.

Lower South Island
