Practising from one of the clinics in the Abano Healthcare network means being part of a professional, patient-focused environment. Our clinics are designed to support dentists in delivering the best possible care to patients, with state-of-the-art facilities and a collaborative team atmosphere. Here’s a glimpse into a typical day at one of our clinics.

Patient Care

Throughout the day, dentists see a variety of patients, from routine check-ups and cleanings to more complex procedures. Each patient interaction is supported by the clinic’s administrative team, who handle appointment scheduling, billing, and patient records.

This allows dentists to focus solely on providing quality oral healthcare. The clinic environment encourages teamwork, with the support team being available to collaborate directly with clinicians to share insights.

Professional Development

One of the unique aspects of working in the Abano Healthcare Network is the emphasis on continuous professional development. New Dentists can utilise our Kickstart Program to launch their dental career, and current Dentists have access to ongoing training and educational opportunities through the Clinical Development Program. These programs are designed to help dentists stay at the forefront of dental innovation and best practices, regardless of how long they’ve been working in this field.

Our support offices are home to a wide range of professionals:

  • Practice Support, bridging the gap between Support Staff and Clinical Teams;

Work-Life Balance

Abano Healthcare understands the importance of work-life balance. Our corporate offices are designed to provide a comfortable and supportive work environment, with policies and benefits that promote employee well-being.

 For example, our Australian offices have three days in office and two days working from home hybrid system for many corporate employees. This gives a lot of parents and busy professionals more flexibility to get everything done each day. One of our corporate offices even offers free yoga classes and early morning pool access!

The corporate office environment is highly collaborative, with all teams working closely together to support the needs of our clinics. On a monthly basis, we come together to learn more about how the business is performing, as well as have a deep dive into the roles of different teams in Abano Healthcare.
