Job Description
As our Dental Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in the smooth running of our practice. Supporting our dentists during procedures, ensuring patients feel comfortable and cared for, and maintaining a clean, safe clinical environment. Your responsibilities will include sterilising instruments, looking after equipment, assisting with patient care, and helping with administrative tasks as needed. This is a hands-on, heart-filled role where your contribution is essential to delivering the high standard of care our patients expect and deserve.
Qualifications
Previous experience in dental assisting is essential, and holding a Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting is advantageous. We’re looking for someone who is organised, able to multitask, and brings a glowing personality with a can-do attitude that lights up the room. You’ll be eager to learn, grow, and take on new challenges with enthusiasm. Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-focused mindset are a must for success in this role.
Please note that successful candidates must be willing to work shifts at both 1300SMILES Cairns and 1300SMILES Smithfield locations.
