Join Channel Dental Care as a Dental Assistant!
Located just 10 minutes south of Hobart in the beautiful coastal town of Kingston, Channel Dental Care has been proudly caring for the Kingston and Huonville communities since 1991. For over three decades, our experienced clinicians have been dedicated to providing high-quality dental care in a welcoming and supportive environment.
Our practice is known for delivering outstanding dental care alongside exceptional customer service, and we take pride in creating a positive experience for every patient who walks through our doors.
We are currently looking for a friendly and reliable Dental Assistant to join our team for 3 days per week. If you’re a compassionate professional who thrives in a warm, team-focused environment and enjoys helping patients feel comfortable and cared for, we would love to hear from you.
Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Assist our Clinicians in providing high-quality dental care to patients.
- Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for dental procedures.
- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment.
- Provide chairside assistance during dental procedures.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a smooth workflow and exceptional patient experience.
Qualifications
- Experience as a Dental Assistant.
- Certificate III in Dental Assisting (or currently pursuing it) is preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
