Are you a caring, motivated Dental Assistant looking for a stable role in a respected and friendly practice? Dr Chau Dental Surgeons is seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our well-established clinic in the heart of Hobart.
Full time or part time available.
The successful candidate must be able to cover both practice locations:
- Hobart: 149 Macquarie Street, Hobart, TAS, 7000
- Rosny Park: 26 Bayfield Street, Rosny Park, TAS, 7018
Job Description
As a Dental Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our patients. Your responsibilities will include chairside assisting, patient care and comfort, infection control, and helping ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the practice.
Your Role Will Involve:
- Assisting dentists and dental hygienists in a variety of treatment procedures.
- Setting up and sterilising dental instruments and equipment.
- Managing patient care, from providing instructions to ensuring comfort.
- Contributing to the maintenance of health and safety standards.
Qualifications
What we are looking for:
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to empathise and connect with patients.
- Strong time management and high attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in computer systems and software.
