Job Description
We are looking for a compassionate and reliable Dental Assistant to become an integral part of our Chartwell branch in Hamilton. Working 3 days per week, this role offers the opportunity to support our clinical team helping deliver an exceptional patient experience.
Dental Assistant Responsibilities
- Supporting our clinicians during a wide range of dental procedures
- Preparing treatment rooms and maintaining high standards of infection control
- Sterilising instruments and ensuring equipment is ready for use
- Maintaining accurate clinical records and treatment notes
- Monitoring and replenishing clinical supplies
- Helping create a safe, efficient, and well-organised clinical environment
- Monitor stock control
Hours
- Monday 8:30am-3:30pm
- Wednesday 8.30am-3.30pm
- Friday: 8:30am – 3:30pm

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Previous Dental Assistant experience preferred but not essential
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- The ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Experience using dental practice software (EXACT experience is advantageous)
- Strong typing skills
- A genuine passion for patient care and creating positive patient experiences
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Professional, reliable, and trustworthy approach with a high level of confidentiality
- A positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a supportive team culture
- Valid NZ work right
