Job Description
Lumino Invercargill is looking for a Casual Dental Assistant to support our teams during busy periods, staff leave, and future locum coverage.
As a professional and close‑knit group, we’re seeking someone who is reliable, warm, dedicated, passionate, and attentive. This role will see you working on a casual basis, providing valuable support whenever needed.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting clinicians chairside during procedures
- Preparing rooms, instruments, and equipment
- Maintaining high standards of infection control and sterilisation
- Welcoming patients and assisting with reception tasks when required
- Helping the team deliver an exceptional patient experience
Qualifications
You’re a people person with a warm, positive attitude and a strong team spirit. You take pride in your attention to detail, reliability, and ability to make patients feel at ease.
To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:
- Experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
