    Job Description

    How you’ll make an impact
    We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Part-Time Dental Assistant to support an ACC-accredited dentist who specialises in the placement and restoration of dental implants. You’ll play a vital role in providing seamless clinical support, ensuring patients feel comfortable and cared for throughout their treatment journey.

    In this role, you will:

    • Provide comprehensive chairside assistance during implant and general procedures
    • Prepare and maintain clinical spaces to the highest standard
    • Ensure all instruments and materials are organised and sterilised according to strict infection control protocols
    • Support the dentist and wider team in delivering efficient, high-quality care
    • Create a calm and reassuring environment for patients undergoing complex treatments
    • Monitor sedation (Sedation Monitoring Certificate highly regarded)

    Working hours:

    • Monday: 9:30am – 4:30pm
    • Thursday: 9:30am – 4:30pm
    • Saturday: 8:30am – 2:30pm

    Qualifications

    YOUR EXPERIENCE & APPROACH

    We’re seeking a confident Dental Assistant who brings professionalism, teamwork, and a patient-first mindset to the role. While prior experience is preferred, we’re also open to training the right candidate with a passion for dental care.

    You will bring:

    Previous Dental Assisting experience (is essential)

    Knowledge or interest in implant procedures  (is essential)

    A Sedation Monitoring Certificate (is required)

    Excellent attention to detail and a strong work ethic

    A friendly, warm attitude and strong communication skills

    The ability to work well in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

    Tech-savvy skills and the ability to quickly learn dental software
