What does a Dental Assistant do?
A Dental Assistant is a critical part of our team! You will support our highly experienced team of clinicians with various interesting dental procedures during patient appointments. You will also take responsibility for instrument sterilisation, infection control and stock control. Working alongside experienced Dentists will give you a great insight into our practice and a wonderful opportunity to continue developing your skills.
The hours for the role are:
- Tuesday – 8:45am – 5:15pm (30-minute lunch)
- Wednesday – 8:45am – 5:15pm (30-minute lunch)
- Friday – 8:45am – 4:15pm (30-minute lunch)
- This is a part-time role working 23 hours per week.
This is a fast-paced role where no two days are the same!
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will bring the following:
- Previous Dental Assisting or relevant healthcare experience is strongly preferred.
- Previous experience with Exact Software is preferred.
- Flexibility to help out the team and be a team player.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive and team-oriented approach to all you do.
- Computer-savvy skills with the ability to pick up new systems quickly.
