We’re on the lookout for a friendly, motivated Dental Assistant/Receptionist to join our vibrant Booragoon team. This is a fantastic opportunity to enjoy a diverse role, working two days at reception and two days chairside as a Dental Assistant - perfect for someone who loves variety and being at the heart of the practice.

Hours: 7:45am – 5:15pm
Job Description
In this dual clinical and reception role, you’ll work closely with our experienced dentists, supporting a wide variety of treatments to ensure every procedure runs smoothly and efficiently - while also helping keep the front of house running seamlessly.
You’ll play a hands-on role in areas such as:
- Assisting with implant procedures, IV sedation, and surgical treatment cases
- Preparing treatment rooms with precision and care
- Maintaining high standards of infection control and sterilisation protocols
- Ensuring instruments and equipment are meticulously cleaned and ready for use
On reception days, you’ll:
- Welcome patients and create a positive first impression
- Manage appointments and handle phone and email enquiries
- Process payments and health fund claims
- Support the coordination of daily schedules to ensure a smooth patient journey
Beyond your clinical and administrative responsibilities, you’ll be a valued part of a warm, collaborative team that’s passionate about delivering a calm, professional, and welcoming experience for patients of all ages.
Qualifications
What we value most is a positive, can-do attitude, strong communication skills, and a genuine team-first mindset.
To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:
- Proven experience as a Dental Assistant (essential)
- Certificate III in Dental Assisting (highly regarded)
- Confidence using dental software systems, ideally D4W
