We're looking for a friendly, motivated Dental Assistant to join our vibrant team at Maven Dental Booragoon! In this permanent part-time role, you'll be hands-on in the clinic, supporting our clinicians and helping create a positive, comfortable experience for every patient who walks through our doors. Job Description
In this role, you’ll work closely with our experienced dentist, supporting a wide variety of treatments to ensure every procedure runs smoothly and efficiently.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing chairside assistance across general, surgical and implant procedures
- Supporting IV sedation and surgical treatments
- Preparing treatment rooms and ensuring everything is ready for each appointment
- Maintaining high standards of infection control and sterilisation
- Cleaning, sterilising and preparing instruments and equipment
- Supporting the clinician throughout procedures and helping appointments run efficiently
- Contributing to a calm, professional and welcoming experience for patients
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you’ll bring:
- Previous Dental Assistant experience and/or a Certificate III in Dental Assisting or higher
- Experience or confidence assisting with surgical, implant or IV sedation procedures
- Confidence using dental software systems
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A reliable, positive and team-focused approach
