Maven Dental Busselton is looking for an experienced Dental Assistant to join our team 4 days a week. With four dentists, a variety of procedures and a supportive team, no two days are quite the same and when you're finished, Geographe Bay is just minutes away.
Job Description
You'll be the steady hand chairside across a mix of general and more complex procedures, working alongside different clinicians and adapting to how each of them likes to run a room.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Chairside assisting across a range of dental procedures
- Preparing treatment rooms and maintaining excellent infection control standards
- Supporting dentists during patient care and procedures
- Sterilisation and instrument management
- Providing reassurance and support to patients throughout their dental journey
- Maintaining a clean, organised and efficient clinical environment
- Working collaboratively with the wider practice team
Qualifications
To be successful in the role you will:
- Have previous experience working as a Dental Assistant
- Be confident providing chairside support in a busy dental environment
- Have strong knowledge of infection control and sterilisation procedures
- Be reliable, organised and enjoy working as part of a team
- Have a warm and friendly approach with patients
- Take pride in delivering high-quality patient care
