Modern Dentistry is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Dental Assistant to join our team for an immediate start. Job Description
As a Dental Assistant, you’ll be involved in a variety of day-to-day responsibilities, including:
- Providing chairside assistance to our clinicians
- Preparing surgeries and equipment for patients
- Assisting with a range of dental procedures
- Supporting sterilisation and infection control processes
- Maintaining a clean, organised and well-prepared clinical environment
- Supporting our patients throughout their visit and helping them feel comfortable
- Working closely with clinicians and the wider practice team
- Helping ensure the practice runs smoothly and efficiently
Qualifications
We’re looking for someone who is experienced, reliable and genuinely enjoys working with people.
You’ll ideally have:
- Previous dental assisting experience
- A positive and friendly personality
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- Strong attention to detail
- The ability to work confidently both independently and as part of a team
- A proactive attitude and willingness to get involved
- A professional approach and commitment to high clinical standards
- Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting is desirable
