Are you an enthusiastic Dental Assistant looking to join a friendly and supportive team? Alstonville Family Dental is currently seeking a full-time Dental Assistant/Receptionist, working four days per week, to become part of our welcoming practice.
Our clinic is known for providing high-quality dental care in a relaxed and professional environment, where both patients and team members feel valued and supported.
Job Description
This dual role position offers variety, combining both chairside assisting and front desk responsibilities. You’ll play an important role in supporting our dentists while also helping create a warm and positive experience for our patients from the moment they walk through the door.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting dentists chairside during dental procedures
- Preparing treatment rooms and sterilising instruments
- Welcoming and checking in patients at reception
- Managing appointments and phone enquiries
- Processing payments and maintaining patient records
- Supporting the team to ensure a smooth and positive patient journey
Qualifications
- Previous Dental Assistant and/or Reception experience preferred
- Friendly, professional, and well organised
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Positive attitude and ability to work in a team environment
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced practice
