Maven Dental Cairns North is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our exceptional team as a Full-Time Dental Assistant/Receptionist. IMMEDIATE START!

• Position: Full-Time Dental Assistant/Receptionist (immediate start)
• Location: Maven Dental Cairns North
• Schedule: Monday - Thursday 7:45 am - 5:15 pm | Friday 7:45 am - 4:15 pm
• No late nights or weekends (9 days per fortnight)

As the first point of contact for our patients, our highly regarded DA/Receptionist will play a crucial role in ensuring our patients receive the highest level of care. Your varied responsibilities will include:

• Greet patients and visitors.
• Schedule appointments, and process payments and health insurance claims.
• Answer incoming calls and respond to inquiries in a professional manner.
• Manage patient files and ensure all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
• Assist our skilled dentist during various dental procedures.
• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials.
• Provide excellent patient care and support.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Assist with other administrative tasks as needed.

Successful candidates require/need to demonstrate:

• Certificate III in dental assisting or 2 years in the industry
• Able to demonstrate knowledge of dental terminology, infection control principles and basic treatment procedures
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Professional presentation
• Punctuality and Reliability
• Conscientious and enthusiastic
• Ability to take initiative
• Experience with implant procedures would be an advantage
• Experience with digital scanners would be an advantage
• Laboratory skills would be an advantage
• Reception skills would be an advantage
• Experience with Oasis software would be an advantage
