Job Description
This is a dynamic dual role where you’ll support both clinical and administrative functions of the practice.
Clinical responsibilities include:
- Assisting clinicians during dental procedures
- Preparing and sterilising instruments and treatment rooms
- Maintaining infection control standards
- Ensuring patients feel comfortable and cared for
Reception responsibilities include:
- Managing appointments and patient enquiries
- Processing payments and health fund claims
- Coordinating the daily schedule
- Providing exceptional front-of-house customer service
Qualifications
- Experience as a Dental Assistant and/or Dental Receptionist
- Certificate III in Dental Assisting (preferred but not essential)
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Confident communicator with a warm, professional manner
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with dental software (highly regarded)
- Applicants must have/obtain a valid Working with Children Check (WWCC info click here)
