This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys combining chairside assisting with reception and wants to build their skills across all areas of the practice.
Job Description
As a Dental Assistant / Receptionist, you'll play an important role in keeping the practice running smoothly and creating a positive experience for every patient.
Your day will include a mix of clinical and reception responsibilities, including:
- Providing chairside assistance during a wide range of dental procedures.
- Preparing treatment rooms and maintaining exceptional infection control standards.
- Sterilising instruments and ensuring equipment is ready for clinical use.
- Greeting patients with a warm, professional and caring approach.
- Scheduling appointments, processing payments and managing patient records.
- Responding to patient enquiries via phone, email and in person.
- Supporting the team to ensure the practice operates efficiently each day.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant, with the confidence to contribute from day one.
- A positive, hardworking attitude and a genuine passion for dental care.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-player mentality.
- A commitment to professional development and learning.
- Applicants must have or be willing to obtain a valid Working with Children Check (WWCC). WWCC information
