Melbourne Dental Specialists (Periodontal Associates), part of the Abano Healthcare network, is seeking an experienced and motivated Dental Assistant/Receptionist to join our busy practice in the heart of Melbourne’s CBD.
Flexible options available: We’re happy to accommodate Casual, Part-time, or Full-time arrangements to suit your needs.
Job Description
- Provide clinical chairside assistance and support during procedures.
- Deliver excellent patient care, both in the chair and at reception.
- Maintain strict sterilisation protocols and a clean, hygienic environment.
- Manage stock, supplies, and assist with front-desk duties, including bookings and patient enquiries.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Dental Assistant; Certificate III in Dental Assisting is advantageous.
- Solid understanding of dental terminology, procedures, and dental software.
- Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-focused approach.
