Job Description
How you’ll make an impact
In this role, you’ll support our clinicians in both dental assisting and sterilisation functions, helping the practice run smoothly every day. You’ll prepare treatment rooms, assist chairside during a variety of procedures, and help patients feel comfortable and at ease. You’ll also be responsible for sterilising instruments to a high standard, maintaining infection control protocols, and assisting with stock management and back-of-house organisation.
From time to time, you may also support the front desk team with reception duties—training will be provided. Whether you’re setting up a room or helping a patient transition between appointments, your contribution will be vital to ensuring a calm, professional, and welcoming environment for everyone who walks through our doors.
Qualifications
Your experience and approach
What matters most is your positive attitude and team spirit. While previous dental or sterilisation assistant experience is a bonus, it’s not essential—we’re happy to train the right person. If you're detail-oriented, organised, and calm under pressure, you’ll fit right in. Strong communication skills, a willingness to learn, and a patient-first mindset are key to success in this role.
Additional Information
This is a fixed-term, part-time position available till 20th July 2026, with regular hours across four days:
Monday: 7:30am – 3:30pm
Wednesday: 7:30am – 3:15pm
Thursday: 12:00pm – 7:00pm
Friday: 9:15am – 4:30pm
(No Tuesday shift)
