As a Dental Assistant, you’ll be an essential support to our clinicians and a reassuring presence for our patients.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Dental Assistant
- Assisting dentists and oral health therapists during a range of procedures
- Preparing treatment rooms and sterilising instruments to the highest standards
- Following strict infection control protocols
- Maintaining stock levels and ensuring surgeries are fully prepared
- Supporting patients to feel comfortable, informed, and cared for throughout their visit
Sterilisation Assistant
What You’ll be doing:
- Cleaning, sterilising, and maintaining dental instruments and equipment
- Accurately monitoring and recording sterilisation processes
- Assisting with infection control procedures across the clinic
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
- Assisting with stock management
- Supporting clinical staff with room setups and patient turnaround
- Assisting the dentist chairside (training provided)
- Jumping in at reception as needed and supporting our front-desk team (training provided) and assisting our highly skilled dentists as-needed.
You’ll be joining a positive, collaborative team where your contributions are genuinely valued.
Hours for this role:
- Monday: 8.00m to 5.00pm
- Tuesday: 8.00am to 5.00pm
- Friday: 8.00am to 4.30pm
This role is offered on a fixed-term, part-time basis (from 1st July 2026 to 30th November 2026) as this position is covering leave, the end date may change if the team member returns earlier.
Your experience and approach
We value attitude just as much as experience. We’re looking for someone who is:
- Friendly, reliable, and committed to patient care
- Experienced in dental assisting or has relevant training (preferred, but not essential)
- Familiar with infection control and sterilisation procedures (an advantage)
- Highly organised and able to multitask in a busy environment
- A strong communicator and team player
Experience with dental software is a bonus, but not required, we’re happy to train the right person.
