As a Dental Assistant/Sterilisation Assistant, you will primarily take control of tasks such as sterilisation and infection control, ensuring all instruments and equipment are processed and sterilised following best practice guidelines. Also, work alongside our highly trained clinicians and other dental professionals to provide excellent patient care and support. You will be tasked with supporting our clinicians during various dental procedures and ensuring best practice standards are upheld, and the best patient care is provided.


Job Description

As a Dental Assistant, you’ll:

  • Support our dentists during a variety of treatments
  • Maintain strict infection control and sterilisation procedures
  • Manage stock and equipment preparation
  • Contribute to a calm, organised clinical environment

As a Sterilisation Assistant, you’ll:

  • Ensure the highest standards of sterilisation and infection control
  • Thoroughly clean and sterilise a wide range of dental tools and kits
  • Support the clinical team by maintaining a safe and efficient instrument flow
  • Work alongside experienced Dentists, gaining valuable insight into our practice and a rare opportunity to learn from some of the best

Hours for this role:

  • Wednesday :9.30am to 3.30pm
  • Thursday : 9.30am to 3.30pm

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Dental Assistant/ steri nurse is preferred but training will be provided.
  • Experience using Exact Dental Software (preferred)
  • Excellent communication, organisational and customer service skills
  • Proficiency in computer software applications
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment
  • A positive, team-focused attitude
  • Confidence using computers and the ability to learn new systems quickly
