Job Description
About the role:
You’ll assist chairside, support patient care, maintain infection control standards, and help keep the practice running smoothly. We’re looking for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in their work, and thrives in a team environment.
What you will do:
- Provide chairside assistance during dental procedures.
- Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for dental procedures.
- Sterilise and maintain dental instruments and equipment.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care.
- Schedule and coordinate patient appointments.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols.
- Reception duties: process payments, manage front reception, and provide exceptional patient service
Qualifications
What we’re looking for:
- Friendly, reliable and professional Dental Assistant
- Great communication and people skills
- Ability to work well in a team
- Dental assisting experience preferred
- Cert III in Dental Assisting an advantage, but not essential
