Lumino Periocare is currently on the lookout for an experienced Receptionist / Dental Assistant to join the team!
As the Receptionist/Dental Assistant, you will be the face and voice of the practice. A typical day will see you assisting our patients with their enquiries, generating and confirming appointment bookings, completing payment processing, banking, and other ad hoc administrative duties. It will be rewarding as no 2 days are the same, and what a pleasure to see people leaving with a smile on their faces!
This is a fast-paced role where no two days are the same. You will be someone who enjoys working closely within a team and providing upstanding customer care.
Working Hours :
- Monday 10:00pm - 2:30pm
- Tuesday 7:45am - 5:30pm
- Wednesday 7:45am - 5:30pm
- Thursday 7:45am - 5:30pm
- Friday 7:45am - 4:30pm
Please note that our working hours are flexible and may vary depending on the needs of the business. Candidates should be prepared for occasional schedule changes
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome patients in a friendly and courteous manner
- Answer incoming calls, screen and direct calls to appropriate personnel
- Schedule patient appointments
- Manage and maintain the reception area, ensuring it is clean and presentable
- Perform data entry tasks, maintain databases, and update records accurately
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and mail distribution
- Provide general office support to ensure smooth daily operations
- Maintain a professional demeanor and represent the company in a positive light
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Previous dental receptionist experience is preferred.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Proficiency in using computer software applications.
- Experience with file keeping and data entry.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
