Lotus Dental is a holistic dental practice based in Neutral Bay, and it's why our patients come to us. We're seeking a friendly, organised, and professional Receptionist to join our team, starting on a casual basis working Mondays and Fridays with the potential to move to a permanent position. The role may also include some Dental Assisting duties depending on experience and practice needs.
This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in delivering excellent customer service, and thrives in a supportive, holistic practice environment.
Job Description
As the first point of contact for our patients, you'll play an important role in delivering a professional and positive experience while supporting the daily operations of the practice.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Greeting patients and creating a warm, welcoming experience
- Managing appointments and responding to phone and email enquiries
- Processing payments and health fund claims
- Maintaining accurate patient records
- Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the practice
- Preparing, cleaning and sterilising instruments and treatment rooms
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous reception or customer service experience preferred
- Dental Assistant experience highly regarded but not essential
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Professional, reliable, and patient-focused approach
- Experience with Exact or similar dental software is advantageous
