Company Description

We’re looking for a dedicated and personable dentist to join our friendly team in Invermay. Just minutes from the Launceston CBD, our established five-chair practice has been caring for the local community for years and is ready to welcome a new clinician who’s passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centred care.

Our practice runs on Oasis software and is fitted with five Sirona chairs, intra-oral PSP imaging with x-ray units in each room, and equipment for extractions, endodontics, and surgical work, including a Surgic XT unit, Electrosurge, and a Dentsply X-Smart Plus. A Zeiss microscope is also available if you’d like to incorporate that into your workflow. While we have a portable nitrous unit on-site, it's currently not in use, but could be reactivated if sedation is within your skill set.

Job Description

As a dentist at our Invermay practice, you’ll enjoy clinical autonomy while being supported by a collaborative team of experienced professionals. Your day-to-day will include:

  • Performing a wide range of general dental treatments, including check-ups, cleans, fillings, crowns, bridges, and dentures.
  • Opportunities to provide advanced treatments such as endodontics, surgical extractions, implants, and cosmetic dentistry.
  • Building strong patient relationships and delivering exceptional care tailored to individual needs.
  • Working with modern equipment and technology to ensure the highest standards of treatment.
  • Collaborating with a supportive team of clinicians, assistants, and practice staff to create a positive and efficient environment.

If you have an interest in Invisalign, dental monitoring, or other specialist areas, we’ll support you with training and mentorship to help you grow your skills.

Qualifications

  • Current AHPRA registration (or eligibility).
  • Professional indemnity insurance.
  • Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for patient care.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-focused culture.
