Our clinic has proudly served the Mackay community long before the mining boom, establishing strong relationships with our loyal patient base. We are committed to offering high-quality dental care and are currently focused on enhancing our practice to meet future needs.
Services include general dentistry, intraoral and 3D scanning, and it is a preferred provider for Westfund and Defence Health. The clinic primarily serves long-term and returning clients, with a 1-3 month waitlist. Onsite parking is available for clinicians, staff, and clients, with additional free parking nearby for up to 2 hours. The team includes five dental assistants, a Practice Manager, one OHT and three dentists.
Practice Setup
- Chairs / Treatment Units: 3 Right-Handed Chairs and 1 Left-Handed Chair
- Clinical Imaging: Intraoral X-ray, Intraoral Camera, Intraoral Scanner for impressions
- CAD / CAM: 3D Scanner
- Sterilisation: 2 Autoclaves and standard required equipment
- Plant: Standard setup as per requirements
- Endo Handpieces: Endo Motor and Apex Locator – 2 different models
Job Description
- Provide high-quality dental care to patients.
- Diagnose and treat oral diseases, injuries, and malformations of teeth and gums.
- Perform routine cleanings, extractions, fillings, and other dental procedures.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventative care.
- Collaborate with a team of dental professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
Qualifications
What we want from you
- Excellent communication skills with both patients and your support team.
- Passion to learn and develop new skills expanding scope of works.
- Hold unrestricted AHPRA registration and professional indemnity insurance (or able to obtain).
- Ability to work within Australia.
