Job Description
Your role as Financial accountant will include:
Preparation, verification and posting of month end accrual, reallocation & prepayment journals/adjustments
Monthly reconciliation and analysis of the company's balance sheet accounts as part of the month-end financial reporting function
Maintain and review Fixed Asset Register and CAPEX
Intercompany reconciliations
Bank Reconciliations
Assist with external audits
Preparation and lodgment of monthly BAS
Reading & interpreting complex contracts
Ability to read, interpret & apply accounting standards
Other ad-hoc duties assigned by Finance Manager
Qualifications
Relevant bachelor’s degree in accounting
CA/CPA qualified or studying
3 + years’ experience in a Financial Accounting role preferably within Chartered or large corporates
Experience in multisite healthcare essential
Excellent attention to detail, time management and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High degree of computer literacy including knowledge of Excel, and other accounting software packages – D365 experience is a plus
FBT experience is a plus
SQL experience is a plus
