A rewarding hygiene role with continuity, autonomy, and a loyal patient following
Jeffcott Dental Clinic is a well‑established, highly respected practice with a long‑standing reputation for preventative dentistry and patient education. Known locally for its professionalism and quality of care, the clinic enjoys a loyal, engaged patient base and operates at 90% utilisation, providing strong, consistent patient flow.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Dental Hygienist who values long‑term patient relationships, autonomy in their clinical work, and being part of a genuinely supportive, experienced team.
We’re seeking a Dental Hygienist to join the Jeffcott Dental Clinic team on Thursdays, with flexibility for part‑time or casual arrangements as the practice continues to grow.
This role is both a replacement and growth opportunity, with an established hygiene book already in place. You’ll step straight into continuity of care, working with patients who are committed to structured hygiene programs and preventative oral health.
The patient demographic is predominantly professional and older, making this a particularly fulfilling role for a hygienist who enjoys building trust, rapport, and long‑term care.
Your Clinical Environment
Jeffcott Dental Clinic is set up to support high‑quality, efficient hygiene care in a genuinely busy environment, including:
- Dedicated hygiene chair
- Intraoral cameras
- Fully equipped, right‑handed surgery
- Support from three experienced dentists
- All equipment provided to deliver comprehensive hygiene treatment
With utilisation sitting at 90%, you can expect a well‑structured day, reliable bookings, and strong continuity of care.
Your Role
Working independently within a collaborative team, you’ll:
- Deliver comprehensive hygiene treatments
- Manage your own sterilisation
- Work closely with the dentists to support long‑term oral health outcomes
- Educate patients and build trusted, ongoing relationships
You’ll be joining a warm, patient‑focused team with over 12 years’ tenure, where professionalism, collaboration, and quality care are truly valued.
You’ll be a great fit if you bring:
- Relevant qualifications as a Dental Hygienist
- Current AHPRA registration (or eligibility to obtain)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A genuine commitment to preventative, patient‑centred care
- Eligibility to work in Australia
