Job Description
Nelson Prosthodontics are seeking a Oral Surgery Assistant to work alongside our wonderful Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons during appointments and clinical treatments. Oral Surgery Assistant contributes to all aspects of Dental Assistance including taking a lead in the patient relationship, ensuring a gold-standard of care to all patients.
- Create a warm and inviting environment for all patients
- Assisting the Surgeons in all aspects of the dental experience
- Cleaning the surgery an completing any sterilization of equipment
- Acting as a team member and filling in or helping out with duties where occasionally required e.g. reception, answering the phones.
The hours of the role are
- Wednesdays: 8.00am - 5.00pm
- Alternative Friday's: 8.00am - 5.00pm
Qualifications
- Either previous experience as an Oral Surgery Assistant or a Dental Assistant with a willingness and enthusiasm to train as an Oral Surgery Assistant.
- Proven customer service skills and with the ability to foster good patient relationships.
- Previous experience within the dental or medical industry.
