As Practice Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our practice. Your responsibilities will include:
- Reception: You will be reception based and have reception duties
- Team Leadership: Guide and mentor our team with clarity and positivity, promoting a collaborative and high-achieving environment.
- Operational Management: Oversee day-to-day operations, including staff scheduling, management, and ensuring our practice runs smoothly.
- Patient-Centric Care: Address patient inquiries and ensure exceptional care to maintain our practice's reputation for excellence.
- Financial Oversight: Manage budgeting and billing processes efficiently, maintaining the practice's financial health.
- Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with our clinicians and support team to achieve practice goals and enhance patient experiences.
How you’ll make an impact
In this key leadership position, you’ll manage the day-to-day operations of our busy practice, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently. Your proven people leadership skills and business acumen will be essential as you empower your team to thrive and deliver outstanding care. You’ll take ownership of financial performance, budgeting, and operational targets, all while fostering a positive and professional environment for staff and patients alike.
Hours for this role :
- Monday - 7.30am to 6.30pm
- Tuesday - 7.30am to 5.30pm
- Wednesday - 7.30am to 5.30pm
- Thursday - 7.30am to 5.30pm
What we’re looking for:
- A confident and adaptable leader with proven experience in team leadership or practice management
- Dental or medical sector experience is preferred but not essential
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships
- Comfortable giving and receiving feedback and supporting team development
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively
- Solid understanding of financial management, including budgets, sales targets, utilisation, and P&L
- Confident using technology and open to learning new systems
- Have valid NZ work rights and live locally
