We’re a busy, large-scale practice and are seeking a confident, well-organised Receptionist who can thrive in a fast-paced environment. Based in our centrally located Mackay clinic, you’ll be the first point of contact for our patients, delivering outstanding service while efficiently supporting the day-to-day operations of a high-volume practice.
Job Description
- Warmly welcome patients and create a positive first impression in a high-volume, busy practice.
- Coordinate appointment bookings and efficiently manage a full and fast-moving clinic schedule.
- Answer a high volume of phone calls and confidently assist patients with enquiries and requests.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and professional reception area at all times.
- Provide reliable administrative support to the dental team, helping keep daily operations running smoothly in a dynamic environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a medical receptionist in a large/busy practice.
- Previous experience in the dental industry is advantageous.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Confidence using computer systems; familiarity with dental software is a plus.
- A friendly, professional manner and a genuine interest in patient care.
