Lumino Seddon Street, Pukekohe is seeking a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Receptionist/ Dental Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis.

This is a varied role that combines both clinical and administrative responsibilities, making it ideal for someone who enjoys interacting with patients while supporting clinicians to provide exceptional care.
Located in the heart of Pukekohe, our busy and welcoming practice is dedicated to providing outstanding dental care in a patient-focused environment. You'll play an important role in ensuring our patients receive a seamless and positive experience from the moment they arrive until their treatment is complete.
As a Receptionist/Dental Assistant you will:
- Greet patients and provide a warm, professional first impression
- Manage appointment bookings, patient enquiries, and front desk administration
- Assist clinicians during a variety of dental treatments and procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for patient appointments
- Maintain high infection control and sterilisation standards
- Ensure clinical areas are clean, organised, and fully stocked
- Process patient payments and maintain accurate records
- Support the wider team to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the practice
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
- Previous Dental Assistant and/or Receptionist experience (preferred but not essential)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A warm, professional, and patient-focused approach
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- The ability to multitask and work effectively in a busy environment
- Confidence using computer systems and learning new technology
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- The ability to work collaboratively within a close-knit team
- Valid New Zealand work rights
- Be based locally in Pukekohe or able to commute easily from a nearby suburb
