Looking for a rewarding role where you’re truly valued and enjoy coming to work each day? We’re on the lookout for a motivated and caring Receptionist/Dental Assistant to join our welcoming practice in beautiful Port Lincoln.
Job Description
You’ll be an important part of our daily operations, assisting our dentists, caring for patients, and helping ensure the practice runs smoothly. Whether you’re experienced or newer to the industry, we value the right attitude just as much as skills.
Your Role Will Involve:
- Assisting dentists and dental hygienists in a variety of treatment procedures.
- Setting up and sterilising dental instruments and equipment.
- Managing patient care, from providing instructions to ensuring comfort.
- Contributing to the maintenance of health and safety standards.
- Reception duties - meeting & greeting patients, general and booking enquiries, record keeping, payment & insurance processing.
Qualifications
What we’re looking for:
- A friendly, reliable and professional Dental Assistant
- Great communication and people skills
- Ability to work well in a team
- Dental assisting experience preferred (but not essential)
- Cert III in Dental Assisting is a bonus
- Applicants must have/obtain a valid Working with Children Check (WWCC info click here)
