Are you an organised, friendly, and customer-focused professional looking for a part-time opportunity in a supportive dental environment? Our team at Lumino The Dentists Oamaru is seeking a dedicated Dental Receptionist to join us on a fixed-term basis through to the 18th December 2026.
As the first point of contact for our patients, you’ll play a key role in creating a welcoming and seamless experience from the moment they walk through our doors.
Job Description
You will be responsible for:
- Welcoming patients with warmth and professionalism
- Managing appointments and coordinating schedules
- Handling phone and email enquiries
- Processing payments and managing patient records
- Supporting the clinical team to ensure smooth daily operations including sterilising equipment and ensuring top-level infection control.
Qualifications
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has previous reception, administration, or dental experience (preferred but not essential)
- Possesses strong communication and organisational skills
- Is confident using computer systems
- Thrives in a team environment
- Takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service
