Lumino Miramar is looking for a part-time Receptionist / Dental Assistant / Sterilisation Assistant to join our team.
In this varied role, you’ll support our clinicians, ensure smooth daily operations, and help create a warm and welcoming environment for our patients.
Key Responsibilities
Dental Assisting
- Support clinicians during a range of dental procedures.
- Uphold best-practice standards and provide excellent patient care.
Sterilisation
- Follow correct protocols to sterilise equipment.
- Manage infection control and maintain a safe clinical environment.
Reception
- Be the first point of contact for patients, in person and by phone.
- Schedule and confirm appointments and manage patient recalls.
- Complete administrative tasks including payments, rescheduling, and banking.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.

Hours for this role:
- Monday- 7.30am to 7.30pm
- Tuesday- 8.30am to 5.30pm
- Thursday- 8.30am to 6pm

- Previous experience as a Receptionist or Dental Assistant is preferred but not essential
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in computer applications with strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Warm and positive attitude with a team-oriented approach
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures is beneficial
- Flexible and organised with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Have valid NZ work rights and based in New Zealand, preferrably in Wellington
