Job Description
1. Full‑Time Role: Sterilisation Assistant / Dental Assistant
Are you detail‑oriented, organised, and passionate about maintaining high standards of infection control? This full‑time role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on work, thrives in a fast‑paced environment, and wants to support both patients and clinicians.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Cleaning, sterilising, and maintaining dental instruments
- Monitoring and recording sterilisation processes
- Supporting infection control procedures
- Assisting with stock management and room setups
- Providing chairside support (training provided)
- Assisting reception when needed (training provided)
Hours
- Mon–Thu: 7:45am – 4:45pm
- Fri: 7:30am – 4:30pm
About You
- Reliable, proactive, and hardworking
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Comfortable handling used medical equipment
- Team‑focused with a positive attitude
- Training will be provided for the right person.
2. Fixed‑Term Role (Until End of June): Dental Assistant / Receptionist / Sterilisation Assistant
This is a varied role combining reception, chairside assisting, and sterilisation support. No two days are the same, and you’ll be the friendly face that welcomes patients while also supporting our clinicians behind the scenes.
Reception Duties
- Managing bookings and patient records
- Processing payments and daily admin
- Ensuring a smooth, welcoming front‑of‑house experience
Dental Assisting Duties
- Chairside support during treatments
- Maintaining infection control and sterilisation standards
- Preparing equipment and managing stock
Sterilisation Duties
- Cleaning and sterilising dental instruments
- Ensuring safe and efficient instrument flow
- Supporting the clinical team with high hygiene standards
Preferred Hours (Can be negotiated for the right person):
- Tuesday: 7:30am – 4:30pm
- Wednesday: 8:45am – 4:45pm
- Thursday: 7:30am – 4:30pm
Qualifications
- Experience as a Dental Assistant (essential)
- Reception experience (preferred)
- Strong customer service or sterilisation background
- Warm, positive, and patient‑focused
- Quick learner with a can‑do attitude
