Full-time Orthodontic Treatment Coordinator - Exact Orthodontics
We’re looking for an adaptable, proactive team member to join our busy practice in a varied role that spans the entire patient journey. You’ll spend one day a week on reception, provide clinical support where needed, and receive full training to step into the Treatment Coordinator position. Job Description
As a Treatment Coordinator, you'll be the first point of contact for new patients beginning their orthodontic journey. Your role will involve procuring clinical records, assisting clinicians through the consultation process and guiding patients through treatment plans, including discussing financial options and ensuring they feel supported and informed every step of the way.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome new patients and assist clinicians through the consultation process
- Collaborate with Orthodontists, Practice Manager, clinic staff, and patients to ensure efficient, positive experiences
- Present treatment plans and financial agreements
- Coordinate appointments and follow-up communications with patients
- Liaise between patients and staff
- Maintain accurate patient records and reporting
- Deliver outstanding customer service with empathy and professionalism
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Treatment Coordinator within a Dental practice is highly desirable, with a comprehensive understanding of dental terminology
- Certificate III in Dental Assisting or Certificate IV in Dental Assisting (highly desirable)
- Experience with dental software is a must
- Strong organisational and communication skills with a patient-first approach
